Mary Schmanski treasures most when her students mature and become responsible adults. She strives to be consistent in her classroom and has high expectations for her students. Her priority is to teach them U.S. Government and history so that they can be engaged citizens. She feels her goals are accomplished when her students can "discuss current political events, the Constitution, and election results in a manner they never expected."
