2017/18 Washington Dress Code

About Us

Established in 1938 and moved to its current location in 1960, Washington High School is home to the Panthers and the “Pride of the West Side”.

Washington is one of four comprehensive high schools within the South Bend Community School Corporation and is proudly recognized for its rich athletic tradition and Medical Magnet Health Sciences program. Washington’s pride is rooted in five tenants:  preparedness, respect, integrity, discipline, and engagement.

Washington is an AdvancEd accredited, public high school.   All students can pursue a Core 40 or Academic or Technical Honors Diploma.

Magnet students
receive broad-based preparation for careers in healthcare and scientific research through one of two program pathways. All students can participate in diverse career exploration through career technical education or focus on rigorous advanced placement programming.
